House Rule #11 – Wizards

We use the game mostly RAW. Here are some of the changes we use at my table.

School of war

Adding a boost to damage to foundation, so that the School of War wizard does more damage than a bard, or a wizard from another school with offensive spells, even when not rolling with Fear.

FOUNDATION FEATURE

Battlemage: You’ve focused your studies on becoming an unconquerable force on the battlefield. Gain an additional Hit Point slot. Additionally, when you succeed with Hope on a Spellcast roll, add the result of your Hope Die to the damage of your spell.
