A fungril archmage taking a batch of fresh arcane cookies from the oven. The School of Gastromancy wizard is one of 18 new subclasses you can find in Fearless volume 2, a supplement for #Daggerheart, out now! You can find it on Heart of Daggers. Not easy to draw, here are the 4 steps of the design: the rough idea, lineart, color, tweaking color to fit Codex+Splendor.

SCHOOL OF Gastromancy
■ Spellcast Trait
Knowledge
■ Foundation Features
Bon Vivant: You can eat or drink anything organic without harm, including poisons. Additionally, you can enchant any food or drink within Close range to make it magically delicious. Spend a Hope to gain advantage on Presence rolls against those who consume what you’ve enchanted this way until the end of the scene.
Daily Special: During a long rest, you may prepare magical food portions up to your Spellcast trait. Choose either Comfort Food or Spicy Magic. Portions expire at your next long rest.
DAILY SPECIALS
• Comfort Food: Consume to clear 1 Hit Point or 1 Stress.
• Spicy Magic: Consume to gain a +1 bonus to a trait of your choice until the end of the scene. Consuming a new portion of Spicy Magic negates the previous one.
■ Specialization Features
Aftertaste: Mark a Stress to taste something (food, drink, blood, an object’s surface…) and receive fragmented visions of its recent past.
Spell Cake: You can now infuse your spells into deserts. You can only have 1 Spell Cake active at a time.
DAILY SPECIALS
• Spell Cake: Bake a small pastry and infuse it with a spell you have access to. The spell must be of half your level or lower. Pay all costs as if casting the spell. Whoever eats the pastry marks a Stress to release the spell within, which is then cast using your Spellcast trait.
■ Mastery Features
Signature Dish: Spend a Hope to conjure a spoonful of your signature dish. Whoever eats it steps up all dice for their next spell’s damage or effects, to a maximum of d12s.
Secret Ingredients: You can create a portion of Spicy Magic to gain a +2 bonus to one of your traits instead of two regular portions. Additionally, you can now have 2 Spell Cakes active at the same time.
